  1. Be happy- only happy people can be productive- VIT wants everyone to be  happy and productive.

  2. Growth of faculties will result in VIT’s growth.

  3. At least in a week faculties have to develop some new value.

  4. Be the CEO of the class:- 

  • Be conscious in the class 

  • Understand the students

  • KPI- key performance indicator assigned to everyone- it will bring changes to faculties- faculties can assess themselves

  • Be confident- increase self esteem -it's an important factor for a faculty

  • Faculties demand respect- it depends upon the work done by faculties

  • Teaching is not a job, it is a career and a passion.

  • Always keep your integrity then only you will be a true CEO of your class.

  • Be positive always..

  • Study your students , understand them -their strength and weakness

  • How the teacher looks at his/her teacher is very important.

  • Example: Bad results of class →  teachers have a wrong mindset about students (some were IIT dropouts) in that class → Never have a wrong mindset, always motivate students.

  • Always be a good facilitator in the class.

  • Re orient faculties mind

  • Accountability of faculty is very very important- he must ensure that students get something from him.

  • Teacher is marks oriented, whereas a facilitator approaches toward daily improvements. 

  • Faculties be thorough with VIT regulations.

  • Understand the curriculum

  • Always understand the syllabus in great detail

  • Always stay updated about new technologies and industry trends

  • Always conduct lectures on problem solving methods- guide the students and carve them for problem solving.

  • Understand the generation gap psychologically and deliver your lecture according to that.

  • Prepare lesson plan- it's Necessary - it will improve teaching quality

  • Never take things for granted - be keep updated

  • Make class interesting and effective- use new methods to make class effective and interesting

  • Understand and maintain the quality

  • Students are our customers - they should be treated as kings and queens

  • Quality of the lecture should be maintained and productive

  • Get feedback about their expectations

  • What satisfies students

    • Quality

    • Try to fulfill their expectation

    •  Go to their level and make them understand

    • Never show partiality

    Appreciate the serious commitment of the leadership team in getting the new entrants to quickly align, get oriented and familiarized with the methods and the manner in which VIT goes about doing its activities on campus!
