We live in a multi-cultural ambience

We have sports, amenities, playstation, swimming pool to develop their own abilities. We have students across the country, multicultural, multilingual and multi-talented. We have lots of clubs and chapters for their development. We have clubs where students are actually involved.

Challenges: It is a challenge for faculty to maintain the quality because students have to be dealt with in a different way because they belong to multi-culture not like one culture student. You have to understand they may be different from their perspective accordingly. Express your knowledge and it will automatically give you respect.

Diverse cultural perspective can inspire creativity and drive innovation

We can express some activity, or explain our cultural significance to them, to make them understand so that they can have a glimpse of diverse culture. The reason is one student cannot make changes for innovation. It always comes from a group of students who belong to a multicultural environment.

Voices needs to be heard

It means every student should get involved in the discussion. You need to give them equal chances to project their views. Integration from a multicultural team is difficult, but you cannot exclude any of the students. Every individual student should feel that there is no discrimination, stereotype, social stigma.  We need to encourage them to feel in the equal way.

Drawing from a culturally diverse talent pool allows an class to attract and retain the best talent

Greater opportunity for personal and professional growth

There are students who are good in language (even sometimes you are not able to understand the meaning), but you have to give them a chance. Similarly you have to be good in the language so that students can understand. You have to make a good balance. Give everyone a fair chance at the same time.

Every student is different, please understand

The campus celebrates all the cultural festivals, we respect all the cultures. This makes the people belonging to the culture happy. Often students of the culture become happy if you attend the other cultures even if you do not belong to the same culture. Also you will be able to learn about the different cultures.

Do not keep into mind that we know everything;

This generation of students are very well equipped with the current scenario and equipment. Do not be stubborn for your knowledge, be flexible and understand that you may make mistakes.

Learn or strengthen a second or third language

Set presentation projects for students on a culture or nation.

Every region has some special things. A student from that place knows better than other students. They need to understand for particular personality. For example you can say to come up with their regional problem, or real life problem to solve in programming. It helps them to increase responsibility or social responsibility. Let them connect with their society which will be helpful for other sides of the scene.

Be aware

Every individual is different, the outlook is different and inside they may be different.

Think and speak

Gender: Remember that you have to handle them in the same way as teacher and student, there should not be something like gender stereotyping, or anything else.

Marriage: You do not need to get discussion on marriage; we do not treat them according to our values. So do not go in that area, understand your area, because they might have their own views and understanding which may not be like yours.

Family: They may come to various family backgrounds. So do not talk about that because they may be from single mother, single father, or other family circumstances.

Relationship: Relationship is something that everyone has their own views especially the young ones (present scenario & age of students). That background they have been brought it may be their family background

Economic Background: Economic background: we need not to ask about that, they may be rich or may be poor. Their attitudes are different, it is not our take of interest.

Religion: They may belong to different religions, or beliefs. So do not discuss their interest and debate on that.

Political Influence: Students have a lot of interest in political issues. Everyone has their own views. So do not argue over that.

Habits and Passion: Do not give any suggestions on their habits or passion and do not give them a practice but you need to be aware of your role, there is always a line. All students are your students and do not follow up to one. This is our social responsibility

Future Ambition: Do not create their future ambition. Let them come by their own.

Sharing students from different culture at the same place is always an inspiring experience: From Students
